Surround yourself in classic grandeur at this beautiful Grade II-listed home in Alnwick. Sleeping eight people over four bedrooms and welcoming two canine companions, it’s ideal for families or groups of friends in search of an elegant abode to call home while they explore the magnificent Northumberland countryside with their pups by their side. Spend a glorious day strolling along the dog-friendly sands at Alnmouth Beach, and in the evening, come home to share a casual al fresco dinner on your cottage’s smart patio.

Step inside this stone-built period home and you’ll be greeted by magnificent high ceilings and parquet floors in the hallway. Make your way to the large lounge area and take a moment to appreciate the sleek mid-century-modern styling before you head to the impressive kitchen/diner to cook up a storm. Share an elegant meal at the large wooden dining table, or step outside and dine alfresco on the rear patio while your pups play in the enclosed space. Afterwards, indulge in a glass of something cool and crisp while the stars come out, or head back to the lounge to stretch out in front of your favourite movie while your pups snooze at your feet. When the day is done, head upstairs and you’ll discover four glamorous bedrooms – two king-size with en-suite shower rooms, one double and one single with a trundle bed that can be made up for an additional child on request. The house is in a very good situation within easy reach mainly on foot of all the facilities that Alnwick has to offer. The nearest food shop is a Morrisons just minutes away.

We had a lovely Easter at Grosvenor House, it was clean, warm and welcoming. We slept well, and the cottage is well located for all that Alnwick has to offer. Parking was not a problem. owner was very resposive and helpful.

We had a great stay here. Lovely big house. Fantastic location right in the centre of Alnwick. House is well equipped although would recommend brining own large pots if planning to cook as pots provided are all very small.
