The main living space is a bright, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with ample room for you and the hounds to spread out. Head into Whitby’s old town to meander along the cobbled streets and peruse the quaint boutiques and gift shops. There are some truly breathtaking coastal walks branching away from Whitby, and the stretch towards the old smugglers’ haunt of Robin Hood’s Bay (7 miles) is particularly scenic.
