This delightful Pembrokeshire escape is a real treat for one or two people and a four-legged sidekick. With the coast path on your doorstep and a shared hot tub and sauna in which to unwind after long walks, it’s the ulti-mutt spot for both outdoor fun and relaxation.
Let your hound lead you up the steps and through the front door of this gorgeous, single-storey cottage. A double-height ceiling, exposed stonework and rugged beams give the open-plan living space impressive character, while soft seating and a wood burner create a cosy and welcoming atmosphere. A Smart TV offers the opportunity of a quiet night at home with a favourite movie. The hand-crafted kitchen has been thoughtfully equipped to make holiday cooking a breeze, and includes a dishwasher as well as a breakfast bar for casual dining. Laundry facilities and a freezer are in the shared utility room, where there are also dog towels and throws. When night falls, head to the beautifully coordinated and invitingly restful super-king-size bedroom, complemented by the coastal-inspired bathroom. Enclosed patios, both front and back, provide space for drinks and meals in the sunshine as your hound plays safely. You’ll have access to on-site wellness facilities, including the shared hot tub and sauna, and yoga lessons (chargeable). Making arrivals and departures straightforward, there’s private parking for one car.
Surrounded by rolling fields, the cottage is just a mile from the sea at dog-friendly Ceibwr Bay, using the National Trust path. From here, take the coast path for mile upon mile of breathtaking scenery. Alternatively, drive into the Preseli Hills for an easy hike up Foel Eryr, 14 miles. Both Poppit Sands and Newport Sands are within 6 miles, offering yet more opportunities for hounds who love to run on the beach or play in the waves.
