Lap up the luxury and savour the scenery at this magnificent, dog-friendly retreat overlooking Ullswater in the Lake District. Sleeping 20 guests, the spectacular, 10-bedroom, lakeside hideaway is set in 27 picturesque acres near Howtown. With gorgeous gardens for your four-legged friend to enjoy, it also comes with a cinema room, a spa, a hot tub, and a yoga terrace. Pups that like to paddle can also dip their paws in the still waters of the lake.
Arrive to discover the accommodation comprises two separate properties, one sleeping 12 and the other sleeping eight. Spread out between them to luxuriate in the high-specification kitchen/diners where you can take turns at playing chef, gather to dine and absorb the views with your happy hound nearby. Unwind, play games and watch TV in the sumptuous lounges, while your canine companion stretches out on comfortable carpets. Gather in the cinema room for movie night or the spa, with its own bar, to recuperate after exhilarating Lakeland dog walks. Across both striking properties, there are three sumptuous super-king-size bedrooms, five king-size and two doubles, all with en-suite bath or shower rooms. Your outside space, where there is even a helicopter landing, offers terraces where you and your canine companion can marvel at the astounding views and garden areas where you can bask in the sunshine. Take to the water on your paddleboard, then return to bubble in the hot tub and soak up the serenity. There is private parking for ten cars.
Step straight out with your delighted dog to follow a section of the 20-mile Ullswater Way. Admire the glorious scenery from one of the Ullswater Steamers, which stops at a pier just 500 metres away. Venture up Hallin Fell, which overlooks the property and offers a largely gentle climb suitable for most pups.
