Take a step up and into the cottage with your chum wagging his tail behind you. Find yourselves in the lounge, where the wood burner is set into a red-brick chimney breast. Stoke up the fire in here so it throws its warm glow across the room as you relax on the sofa in front of the Smart TV and your happy hound discovers his new home. Take him through to the kitchen/diner when mealtimes arrive and let him eat his fill of the fresh Norfolk cuts you have sourced for him. Prepare your own delicious dishes, then set the table and call everyone else to gather round. A handy WC is also down here, while the split-level family bathroom is on the floor above. Two of your bedrooms, a twin and a king-size with a TV, are also at this level, while another twin, with an en-suite bathroom, can be found on the floor above. This lovely bedroom is accessed via steep, cottage-style stairs and has some restricted head height. Enjoy morning coffee or an evening glass of wine out in the south-facing garden with your furry friend close by. Parking is in a nearby free car park, 40 metres away, subject to availability.
Walk or drive just over 1 mile to the immense sandy beach at Wells, which has great stretches that are dog free all year round. Holkham Beach, 2.5 miles away, is also popular with pets that love to race across the flats.
