Galston (2 miles) is an attractive town with numerous historic sites, such as Barr Castle and Loudon Kirk, and a range of charming, traditional pubs and restaurants. Journey 16 miles to the coastal town of Troon, where you can enjoy a dog walk along the esplanade, admiring magnificent views of the Isle of Arran, before picking up some delicious seafood for your supper at the fish market.
