A welcoming cottage in the coastal location of Embleton is perfect for couples or small families seeking a restful holiday. Embleton Bay (1 mile), offers safe, clear waters and a wide, sandy beach with a dramatic view of the ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle. Enjoy a round of golf at the challenging local links while admiring the views of the Northumberland coastline. Take the coastal path to reach Craster (3 miles), an unspoilt fishing village that's famous for its kippers.

This end-of-terrace, two-storey stone cottage offers a spacious and chic interior, perfect for relaxing after days out exploring Northumberland's countryside and coast. Take four steps up to the front door and enter the hall. Move through to the open-plan living space featuring coastal artwork, and a large electric wood burner effect fire. Sink into the comfortable seating and watch a film together on the Smart TV. Cooking is a breeze in a sleek kitchen with all the contemporary appliances you could need. Upstairs are a king-size bedroom with a Smart TV, and views to the village green and beautiful Norman church, and a twin bedroom. A contemporary shower room completes the first-floor features. At the back of the house, over to one side, is a patio area, strung with pretty lighting overhead, making this the perfect spot for a relaxed afternoon tea, or an evening spent dining alfresco. There is private parking for two cars.

Northumberland offers a treasure trove of natural, cultural and historic attractions to discover. Magnificent Alnwick Castle is just 8 miles away and has plenty to entertain all ages. Seahouse and Bamburgh beaches are both less than 10 miles away and offer breathtaking views towards the Farne Islands. Otherwise, enjoy walking around The Alnwick Garden (7.5 miles), to take in the beautiful plants and fountains.

A great statin a lovely cottage in an excellent location. Cottage was immaculately clean and tastefully decorated.it had all you need,warm and comfortable. A good location for walks, easy access to walks and beach, we are already planning another visit.

This is a well equipped cottage in a brilliant location. The cottage has everything you could want and with two pubs and two shops in the village, and a short walk to the beach and golf course it is ideally situated.

A perfect cottage getaway! We have just returned from a wonderful stay. The property is warm, welcoming and beautifully cared for. It was spotless, stylishly decorated and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The cottage is warm, comfortable and equipped with everything you could ever need. Its location in the centre of Embleton is an added bonus with shops selling local produce, a petrol station and garage, and not to mention an excellent pub within 50 yards. For any golfers out there its 2 mins by car to Dunstanburgh Golf Club with loads of other exRead morecellent courses (Seahouses, Alnmouth, Bamburgh, Goswick) all on your doorstep. Its within walking distance (15mins) of the coast path and Embleton Bay, with both Low Newton By The Sea, Craster and Dunstanburgh Castle all within walking distance. Further afield Alnwick, Walkworth, Drudridge Bay, Holy Island are all within 30 minutes drive.
