Location was nice. I would not class this property as dog friendly. There is people back & forth and also a quad bike, within the enclosed holiday let. Dogs could not relax. The 2 mile lane to the property is in a very poor condition with very few passing spaces. The hot tub I feel is not private as it is overlooked by the main house and people werRead moree walking past when we were in the hot tub at 10:10pm Hide

We had a wonderful stay at The Chic Retreat, it was just as described on the listing. The dogs especially enjoyed the freedom of the fields to run in. The accommodation itself was perfectly laid out with just what we needed to relax and unwind over the weekend. Thanks you both for a wonderful stay!!

The cottage was luxurious and beautifully decorated. Although the weather was terrible, the cottage was very warm and cosy - so much so that we didn't feel the need to use the log burner at all. Everything was very good quality, and the owners were there if needed, but were respectful of our privacy.

Chic retreat was lovely for our weekend break with our dogs. Mel was great and contacted me before we left to make sure we had all the details and met us on arrival. She gave several recommendations for pubs and restaurants and where to take the dogs. It was very cosy and clean and we really enjoyed our stay.

Such a lovely find, cosy and peaceful, just what we wanted! Owner was really attentive when we arrived to make sure everything was ok and ran through a few things for us. Great location, only a short drive to a few restaurants and we also drove to the Four waterfalls from here too. Would definitely recommend and stay again!
