This South Wales retreat puts your four-pawed pal at the heart of the holiday experience. Decorated with pet-inspired artwork and dog-themed quotes, this fun and friendly space is sure to strike a chord with pup owners. On-site, you’ll find a shared 1.5-acre dog park offering plenty of room for Rover to run free, as well as open fields where pets are welcome to run when not in use for farming –keep an eye on the signs to know when it’s safe to let Fido off the lead. This characterful single-storey cottage accommodates three guests, making it an ideal choice for couples or small families travelling with up to two dogs.
Inside, your beloved pup will love having their favourite humans all in one place within the open-plan living area. The lounge/kitchen/diner offers a sociable setup for chatting while dinner’s cooking, yet feels spacious enough that no one’s underfoot – even with a pup or two in tow. Let your sleepy dogs curl up by the wood burner-effect electric fire when it’s time to wind down, before heading through to the unique double bedroom. This room features a double bed and an additional mezzanine double above, alongside an en-suite shower room. Outside, along with private parking for one car and shared access to the dog park, there’s an enclosed patio complete with outdoor furniture and a BBQ – perfect for al fresco dining while your pups safely potter nearby.
While there’s plenty for your dogs to enjoy on-site, you’ll also find endless adventures nearby. Follow the pretty path down to Mewslade Bay, a stunning, dog-welcoming beach just 1 mile away, or venture a little further to Rhossili Bay Beach (1.5 miles), which welcomes pups all year round. Across the peninsula, make your way towards Weobley Castle (8 miles) via King Arthur’s Stone (6 miles).
