With ample space for a pair of four-pawed friends to join you, the stylishly decorated and elegantly furnished cottage makes an enchanting retreat for walkers and nature spotters discovering a secluded corner of North Scotland. Ideally situated for anglers along the River Deveron, this bright, elegantly furnished holiday home features a wonderful wood burner, a luxurious free-standing bath and an impressive conservatory.

Stepping inside this welcoming cottage, the fresh and airy lounge has a Smart TV, ample seating and a lovely wood burner for your canine companion to loll in front of after a great day’s walking. Heading through, the farmhouse-style kitchen has ample equipment and a central country breakfast table. An additional dining table can be found in the sunny conservatory. The ground floor also features a shower room, a utility room and a boot room with storage space for fishing equipment. Head up to the first floor, and you will find a soothing bathroom with a beautiful free-standing rolltop bath and a separate walk-in shower. This floor also features three colourful and elegantly decorated bedrooms: a delightful twin and two cosy king-size rooms. Going outside, there’s a lovely lawn for pets to run around, alongside a shared tennis court. Parking is available for two cars on the driveway.

The surrounding Avochie Estate stretches across 1,500 acres of farmland, woodland and pasture, offering miles of peaceful walks to enjoy with your hound. There’s fishing along the river, and chances to spot roe deer, game birds and ospreys. The nearby town of Huntly (8 miles) has some pet-friendly pubs, or you can head to the dog-welcoming beaches at Inverboyndie and Banff, both within 18 miles.

Superbly appointed and well-decorated. Good heating, plenty of hot water and underfloor heating when required. Did not need to use the wood burner. Impressed by oak staircase, oak doors and new "old style" door furniture. Everything you could need in the kitchen. Very quiet. Plenty of good walks in and around the estate.
