Entering this charming escape, the spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner offers a friendly welcome, with a stylishly arranged kitchen area, a sociable central dining table and a light-filled lounge with sumptuous seating and a wood burner. The ground floor also has a handy utility room and WC. Upstairs, there’s a refreshing bathroom and two cosy bedrooms tucked beneath the eaves: one king-size room and one twin, each with exposed beams and sloping ceilings. From the lounge, double doors lead into a pretty garden enclosed by mature hedges and traditional stone walls. This tranquil space has a lawn and a patio, perfect for dining alfresco with your pets lying contentedly by your side. There’s secure bike storage and private parking for two cars. Please note livestock are in the neighbouring fields, so dogs must be kept on a lead as you head down to the stream and enjoy the beautiful local walks.

The Black Mountains are to the west and the Lower Wye Valley to the east, offering miles of walking trails for your pets to lead you along. The surrounding area has a wealth of pet-friendly attractions, including Raglan Castle, Tintern Abbey and Goytre Wharf, all within 14 miles.
