Situated beside the River Coquet at the foot of Warkworth Castle, with long walks from the doorstep, this homely hideaway is perfect for couples and families who never leave the house without their four-pawed third wheel.

At the end of a long walkies, head up the external steps, through the front door and into the boot room to hang up the leash and wipe off muddy boots and paws. Boasting rustic decor, beautiful, exposed brick walls, and a roaring feature wood burner that your top dog will go mutts for, the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner enjoys a wonderfully peaceful ambience. Your canine companion can warm chilly paws beside the hearth as you unwind weary muscles or whip up some tasty treats with your fabulous new, local flavours. Enjoying scenic views that’ll set tails wagging, the two charming king-size bedrooms beckon tired travellers to rest and reset before tomorrow’s adventure. Located a stick’s throw from the cottage, the fully enclosed garden is perfect for playful pups to let off steam, exploring the lawn whilst you enjoy some quiet in the summer house. A fantastic property and really well equipped and located. We had a wonderful stay and having access to the garden was great. We stayed with our dog, Cooper, and found lots of local walks and it was great to be able to walk to the beach without taking the car.

Excellent apartment, everything you needed and more, centrally located,a short walk to a relaxing garden

Everything we could possibly need was supplied. Co owner contacted us on arrival to check all was well. Our only complaint would be that the seating in the lounge could have been more comfortable, but an abundance of cushions helped.

We have always stayed in Cottages/houses in the last 10 years of staying in Warkworth and this time we chose to stay in one of the apartments through the same company Coquet Cottages. Certainly surprised with how spacious the living space was in The Buttery and we were comfortable with our greyhound and there was plenty of room to relax and watch Read moretv and also good space to have food at the table or on some occasions log on to the computer to deal with emails. The bed we used was extremely comfortable and we thought the decor and appliances were all of good quality making the stay a very enjoyable and home from home experience. The Hidden garden is a great feature for this apartment as most do not come with a garden and we think in the summer months the is definitely somewhere we could come back to and enjoy the little summer house to enjoy that all day sun view the garden gets. Again another great stay in the village and the reason we continue to come back and book with Coquet Cottages, Hide

This lovely first floor apartment was spotless and of a good size. It was very well equipped, with everything needed for a great stay. It also had the bonus of a garden with a summer house. It was situated in a great location in the beautiful village of Warkworth. Parking was very close by and there was never a problem finding a space. There was anRead more excellent restaurant almost opposite the apartment and 2 good pubs serving food a short stroll away. Warkworth is an ideal base for exploring the Northumberland coast and also has an amazing castle. Hide
