Up the set of slate steps and through the charming front door, you’re greeted with the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner that beckons tired toes and paws to unwind. The quaint kitchen provides everything you need to whip up tasty treats; your canine companion can curl up at your feet as you enjoy your food with the whole pack seated around the dining table. Featuring patio doors out to the garden, the coastal-themed lounge has been designed with relaxation in mind, where you can warm chilly toes and paws beside the cast-iron open fire. When it’s time to pause from chasing your tail, retire upstairs to find one cosy twin bedroom and a delightful en-suite king-size bedroom boasting a breathtaking view across Craster. Being enclosed, your playful pup can roam to their heart’s content in the patio garden, which features a raised patio area and festoon lighting, perfect for entertaining and al fresco dining. Private parking is available for two cars.
Located within the Northumberland Coast National Landscape, the fishing village of Craster makes a great base for several excellent local coastal walks. Join the Northumberland Coast Path from the village, which connects you to landmarks such as Dunstanburgh Castle (less than 0.5 miles) and Embleton (4 miles) to the north, and Alnmouth (8.5 miles) to the south. Dog friendly all year round, your pup will go mutts for a run around the gloriously golden, dune-backed beach at the harbourside village of Seahouses, 10.5 miles away. Seahouses also offers dog-friendly boat trips to the Farne Islands, the perfect way to spend a relaxing afternoon.
