Beware the many steps are not suitable for anyone who is at all infirm. The property is a bit tired, the bedrooms are a bit cramped and some of the furniture is inappropriate. The owner micro manages the central heating so the house can be cold and the hot water and showers are a bit restricted.

See comments above. The location was fine for us - 10-15 minute walk into Seahouses pubs and shops. We managed to park 4 cars on the drive. The dining table comfortably seated 10 adults. We would have liked a bigger cooker and fridge/freezer. Some crockery, from previous occupation, was put away dirty.

A good property, wecome pack excellent, really lovely garden. Barbecue hut unexpected and and a great hit with the kids. Beds very comfortable. Cleanliness not so good, dog hair, old cereal under dining table and some pans that needed washing before they could be used, also a very strong smell of dog in the downstairs bedroom was unpleasant.

We stayed at The Old Manse for 7 nights as a multi generational family of 6 adults and 4 young children. Overall we had a super week. The property easily accommodated us all and each bedroom had an en-suite bathroom with shower. The beds were super comfy and everyone slept well. The property is in a great location near the coast with lots to do in Read morethe local area without having to drive too far! The garden was perfect for the children to play in being fully enclosed and visible from the wrap around conservatory. The children (and adults) enjoyed the novelty of having the Kota hut for barbecues. The kitchen was very well equipped with lots of cups, cutlery and crockery and the welcome pack provided was excellent (the best weve had) We took advantage of the Ocean Club membership and visited the pool there (chargeable) on one afternoon which got a thumbs up! David, the host, contacted us on the first night with lots of helpful info for our stay. Hide

Lovely house and wonderful gardens but let down by the standard of housekeeping. It really needs a deep spring clean. The fridge is far too small for a sleep 10 house. One tea towel is not adequate for a week! We couldnt use the bbqs as they were so greasy, and the oven was nearly as bad. We knew the house accepted dogs but didnt expect to find as Read moremany dog hairs, particularly in the conservatory. I had to clean out the cutlery drawers of food debris. Thankfully there was a dishwasher. However the house is in a great location - just a short walk into Seahouses, and a lovely walk to the beach down the path opposite. The gardens are super. It was great having each bedroom ensuite. Hide

We visited and stayed for a few days as a multi-generational family and we really enjoyed it.
