Enjoy coast and countryside walks from the doorstep of this characterful cottage. Sitting in pretty gardens close to a pet-friendly inn, it boasts three bedrooms across the two upper floors, plus a paw-warming wood burner in its beautiful lounge. A large conservatory links to an enclosed garden where the pups can potter safely.
Elegantly furnished in contemporary country style, this end-terrace cottage welcomes you into a spacious conservatory where there’s room to dine and unwind. Adjacent, the farmhouse kitchen/diner has a Range cooker and all the must-haves of home. Beyond, the sitting room features warm heritage hues and a choice of soft seating. Fire up the wood burner and the pups can stretch out while you watch TV or choose a book from the well-stocked shelves – this room is all about spending cosy down-time together. Once the pups are settled in their beds, take the stairs to the first floor where a king-size and a twin bedroom share a fabulous family bathroom. A master suite on the top floor has a king-size bed, en-suite shower room and large Velux windows framing far-reaching views to Craster and Dunstanburgh Castle. The charming cottage garden is a fully enclosed space where the pups can sniff out the flora while you relax with al fresco food and refreshments. An outbuilding has been converted into a utility room with a washer/dryer, WC and storage for outdoor gear.
Private parking means you can unpack then explore at your leisure – less than 500m away, Dunstan’s village inn is pet-friendly, while a mile-long walk across the fields leads to the Northumberland Coast Path. Get tails wagging with a stroll to Craster (1 mile) – follow your nose to the kipper smokehouse, shop for seaside-inspired arts and crafts, or simply watch the fishing boats in the harbour. It’s little over a mile further to iconic Dunstanburgh Castle – watch out for puffins, dolphins and other wildlife en route.
