Whisk your family and friends, including those with four legs, off to this sun-soaked Northumberland cottage. Sleeping eight guests, this four-bedroom holiday home at Beadnell Bay is an outstanding base for pups as well as larger groups. Not only does it have an enclosed, south-facing garden, but it is less than 300 metres from the dog-friendly beach and is perfectly positioned for the Northumberland Coast Path.
Open the front door to this modern cottage and step inside with your pal padding behind you. Hang the lead and slide your sandals or walking boots off in the hall, then head through to the open-plan lounge/diner, which spans the back of the property and is bathed in natural light. Open the French doors so you and your happy hound can meander outside. Enjoy meals at the table or relax on the soft seating in front of the Smart TV, while your contented canine stretches out in a sunny spot. The adjacent kitchen has been cleverly designed to provide everything you need to prepare delicious meals using local Northumberland ingredients. A WC is downstairs, while the family bathroom is on the first floor with the bedrooms. Enjoy a superb night’s sleep in either of the two twin rooms or two super-king-size bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite shower room. Bask in the sunshine with al fresco meals while your faithful friend noses about the garden. There is also off-road parking for two cars.
Enjoy a 2.5-mile walk along the coast to Seahouses. Picnic on the long sandy beach, where four-pawed pals can play freely. Hike a further 3 miles to picturesque Bamburgh to explore the pet-welcoming castle grounds.
