A stylish and spacious getaway with a real sense of luxury, this contemporary Northumberland retreat awaits groups and a four-pawed explorer. With a luxurious hot tub and light-filled living spaces, the property is surrounded by paddocks with horses grazing, 4 miles from the harbour town of Amble.
Enter on the lower ground floor to find a practical boot room and laundry area – ideal for sandy paws or muddy boots after adventures. There’s also a handy family shower room here with a rainfall shower for freshening up after beach days. Climb the stairs to the magnificent open-plan living area. Vaulted ceilings, a wall of windows and sliding doors make the most of the countryside views. Unwind on the deep sofa with your canine curled up nearby and pop on the Smart TV for a cosy evening in. The sleek, fully equipped kitchen makes holiday cooking a joy, and then dine together around the table. Two of the bedrooms are on this floor – a king-size and a super-king-size that can be made up as a twin on request, complete with an en-suite shower room. A connecting door makes these rooms perfect for families with younger children. A mezzanine double bedroom is reached via steep stairs and has a relaxed seating area under the sloping ceiling. All bedrooms have Smart TVs for lazy holiday lie-ins. Step out to the balcony to soak up the views from a lounger or chair. Fire up the bubbling hot tub after a day of walking, or sizzle a BBQ feast in the fresh air. There’s a second outdoor dining area below, and both are enclosed for Rover's safety. Parking for three cars is provided in the shared parking area.
From the doorstep, it’s a 1.5-mile wander through open countryside to reach the sweeping golden sand at Druridge Bay. Here, your furry friend can run, dig and zoom to their heart’s content. The same distance away, Druridge Bay Country Park is a lovely day out, with woodland trails, a 100-acre lake for water sports, and plenty of space for stretching both human legs and wagging tails. Alternatively, pop into Amble to browse the shops, enjoy seafood lunches and explore the harbour’s craft pods.
