Property code: OC-COQ68

Set in a prime spot in picturesque Warkworth, this spacious three-storey cottage is ideal for families or couples travelling together, complete with room for your waggy-tailed wanderer. Sleeping six guests across three lovely bedrooms (each with its own bathroom), the townhouse sits just 350 metres from Warkworth’s iconic medieval castle.

Step inside to a welcoming hallway leading to the heart of the home. The stylish kitchen/diner is a cheerful place to cook and chat. Afterwards, gather in the airy lounge with its bay window and plenty of comfortable seating. Settle in with your furry friend curled up at your feet to share stories from the day, pop on a film on the Smart TV, or let youngsters play a game on the PlayStation (available on request). When it's time to turn in, head upstairs to find restful bedrooms arranged across two upper floors. The first floor offers a double with an en-suite shower, a twin room, and a family bathroom. Further up, the luxurious king-size bedroom with en-suite shower enjoys the top floor all to itself. After coastal walks and castle explorations, return to the enclosed courtyard garden for a well-earned rest. Indulge in a slice of local spice loaf in the sunshine, or pour a glass of something chilled and settle onto the bench while Rover potters nearby. There is private parking for one car, with additional on-street parking available nearby, and a tumble dryer located in the garage.

Start the day with a gentle stroll around the castle ruins, then follow the peaceful 1-mile path through fields to reach the sweeping, uncrowded sands — perfect for sandy paws, splashing at the shoreline and stretching legs. Make the short trip to Amble (1.5 miles) to browse quirky independent shops, sniff out a relaxed bite to eat or wander the colourful pod outlets down by the harbour. For a day out, Alnwick Castle Gardens (7.5 miles) holds special dog-friendly days throughout the year.

We had a fantastic week at Rebecca House. The cottage was clean, comfortable and well appointed and we were very pleased with our choice. The only slight issue from our side was in the description on the website which stated that there was a gas hob (it is an induction one) and that there was a tumble drier (there isn't one). Other than that, thRead moree cottage itself was lovely and we would very happily recommend and visit another time. Hide

I have stayed at Rebecca house four times now and keep coming back as it is such a lovely place to stay. There have only ever been three people staying so please bear that in mind if you have a larger group.

A fabulous home from home. All creature comforts taken care of. We've stayed before at Rebecca House, and we'll be back later this year. Already missing our beach walks, and trips to Bertrams!

The house had everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable. It was located just back from the river- so easy access. We had bikes and a padel board which we could keep in the garage. The beds were so comfortable and the bathrooms well appointed.
