We had a fantastic week in Oyster Cottage. It was the cleanest holiday cottage we have ever rented in the UK and was really comfortable with lots of thoughtful additions making it a great place to come back to and relax in after exploring the local area. The welcome pack was a lovely treat and our son was very appreciative of the Easter Egg! The coRead moreastline is absolutely stunning and there are some wonderful walks and Hadrians wall and the sites at Housesteads and Vindolanda are not to be missed. We hope to come back one day as, despite being out every day, we feel as if we barely scratched the surface of what the area has to offer! Thank you to Ken and Andre - it was clear to us how much effort you put into Oyster Cottage for your guests. Hide

Having spent many years at various cottages throughout the UK, there is no doubt that Oyster Cottage is one of the best we have stayed at. It was warm and cosy from the minute we walked in. It was very obvious that Ken and Andre have worked very hard to present a cottage at this standard. It was a pleasure being there.
