Get tails wagging with a luxury break in this exceptional property with your furry pals and a large group of friends or family. Enjoy walks from your door or venture to sandy beaches for runs in the surf, and head home to relax by the wood burner or in your spacious garden.

Hang leads and coats in the utility, the perfect space to store pet food, and enter the light-filled kitchen. A breakfast bar makes this a wonderfully sociable space, and there’s a host of superb appliances, including a range-style cooker. Dine in the handsome dining room next door, lighting the wood burner for extra atmosphere, then snuggle up in either the cosy snug or the elegant lounge, where there’s a wood burner and a Smart TV. Spectacular lighting, original beams and exposed stonework all add to the atmosphere in these luxurious rooms, while books and board games offer hours of entertainment. There are four bedrooms on the first floor – three king-size and one super-king-size – and two double bedrooms on the top floor. All the bedrooms boast TVs and en-suites, and are beautifully styled with eye-catching wallpaper and lovely linens. Let your canine companions play safely in the enclosed garden, where there’s a raised patio with a BBQ as well as an enormous lawn. You’ll also have space for eight cars to park in the gated grounds.

The small market town of Wooler, known as the gateway to the Cheviots, is a great starting point for walks, which take in ancient trails and unspoilt landscapes of hills, dales and waterfalls. The town centre, less than 0.5 miles, is home to several dog-friendly pubs. Hepburn Wood is 7 miles or, for beach days, head to the coast at Alnmouth, Bamburgh or Seahouses, all within 24 miles.

The house and grounds are exceptional although the surrounding properties caught us by surprise and whilst initially disappointed to find a residential caravan site next door, and a very busy road adjacent neither actually caused any issue.

Absolutely 5* accommodation enjoyed by us all aged 21 up to 85. Great meeting place for families to come together and en suites in every room an advantage. We would definitely go again and recommend to others. Top tip, take firewood if you want to use the log burners.

What a wonderful place to spend Christmas! We were a family of 12 from 5 to 93 years old and the holiday home was wonderful, spacious, well-decorated and had absolutely everything we needed. The owners went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time, we were welcomed with a touching hamper gift (including a toy and treats for our dog) and a pRead morehone call to check everything was as expected. This house really worked for three generations of our family- lots of space, lovely big kitchen and a nice extra to have all bedrooms en suite. The garden was beautifully kept and our kids enjoyed the games and sports equipment provided. Although close to the main road it felt secure and the ice cream shop right next door was a big hit!

A lovely house that met all our needs. Very comfortable with plenty of space for us all to spread out (7 adults & 4 children) as well as being well-equipped. The lovely garden was a bonus with plenty of space for the grandchildren to play safely. Honey Pot House is also in a great location, with many attractions a short drive away. Wooler is withinRead more walking distance and the small supermarket across the road was handy. The ice cream shop next door is to be recommended. Hide

12 of us came to Honeypot for birthday celebrations. The cottage is absolutely immaculate with plenty of space. All the en suites bedrooms are excellent. We were lucky with the weather so were able to take advantage of the rather impressive garden. The customer service from Coquet cottages was also first class. We had a wonderful stay.

We were 6 couples who live in different parts of the country (& Germany!) who all worked abroad together 40+ years ago; we have a holiday get together each year in many different locations. Everyone agreed Honeypot House provided the best accommodation weve ever had. The house is so spacious with large rooms where we could all sit together and chatRead more or eat yet still plenty of areas where you could find a quiet space. The garden is wonderful to wander in, sit in or play in and theres plenty of space to park 6 cars at the front. The house was well equipped, especially in the kitchen and the toiletries in the bathrooms were good quality and had a lovely scent. The bedding was high quality as were the beds which were comfortable. The only complaint came from the 2 couples who slept in the double beds on the top floor which werent big enough as we are all used to sleeping in king or super king size beds so when they are being renewed please get bigger beds or even twin beds.
