This stylish apartment with gorgeous views over Amble Harbour is a tail-wagging treat for one hound and up to six humans. Spend days on peaceful riverside walks and exhilarating beach runs, returning to watch sunsets from the hot tub on your balcony.

From the shared entrance, take the lift or stairs to your front door on the first floor and follow your pup into the spacious, bright apartment, which is set over two floors. Set your dog’s bed on the tiled floor in the L-shaped, open-plan living space, and admire the stunning harbour views through the floor-to-ceiling windows. Explore the kitchen, with its array of equipment and pretty tiling, the dining area with its large table, and the lounge, where soft seating invites you to relax as you stream a favourite show on the Smart TV while your mutt snoozes. You’ll also find a useful WC off the hallway on this level. Head upstairs to find three comfortable bedrooms, each with a Smart TV, ample storage and beautiful metal beds. The super-king-size bedrooms boasts an en-suite shower, while the two others share a handsome family shower room. The decked balcony is a wonderful space for enjoying blissful soaks in the hot tub or snacks and drinks in the fresh air as you gaze at the boats bobbing in the harbour. An allocated parking space completes this inviting escape.

Just steps from boutique shops and seafood shacks, the apartment makes a great base for invigorating walks. Follow the River Coquet to Warkworth, 1.5 miles, and let your furry friend run free on the long, sandy beach, 2.5 miles, or pop him on a lead to explore the ruined medieval castle. In Druridge Bay Country Park, 3.5 miles, you can hike around the lake, through woodland and among extensive sand dunes.

Five of us celebrated my 70th birthday. We were blown away by this amazing property and the stunning location. The property was immaculately clean and had every we needed. The luxury of a balcony with a hot tub was the icing on the cake. We had an amazing time and would definitely come back.

Idyllic location, we couldnt fault the house, and view from the window. Warmly welcomed by the housekeeper who couldnt do enough to make us comfortable. Husband loved the well equipped and secure bike garage 5****** We will be coming back for sure.

What a fantastic apartment, it really was a wonderful find. The place was immaculate, finished to a high standard, the welcome pack was very generous and delicious with quality produce. We had a wonderful fortnight at Hemingway's in Amble. The apartment is a very special property. It feels like a house, over two floors, but its elevated location provides great views over the marina towards Warkworth, with the castle prominent. The furnishings were comfortable and accommodated 6 adults well. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all top notch - very comfortable beds, and excellent showers. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Amble has great facilities, lovely places to eat (the Fish Shack is particularly good) and the development is next door to the peerless Spurreli's ice cream parlour. Highly recommended. Hide

For a family that likes to visit the area that they are holidaying in, and to explore its natural and historical attractions Hemingway's was the perfect base to return to in the evenings to relax, and enjoy the view from the balcony hot tub.

What an excellent property this is. Tony and his team are also very friendly and helpful. The views from the balcony over the Marina and river cockett were helped by the gorgeous weather. The hot tub was well used by our party. Very comfortable beds and pillows and slept very well. Only glitch is the other half of the site caters for bikers, walkerRead mores and schools. We had a school party in that were quite boisterous until 9pm in two evenings. Would definitely be return Hide
