All stylishly furnished, the bedrooms offer high-quality linen for an amazing night’s sleep, whilst the master bathroom offers extra special features with its open-plan roll-top bath situated in the room itself. Gaze out of the window at the spectacular views whilst in the tub or head back downstairs, where kids and canines can run free in the enclosed garden while you bask in the sunshine on the additional garden furniture. Inside, clink glasses to your holiday at the table laid for ten guests, or mosey around the Shaker-style kitchen for a more casual affair.

From your doorstep, stretch two legs (and four) at the myriad of footpaths over gorgeous heath and common land. Dip paws in the Meare, a local Peter Pan boating lake or hire a boat for a touch of rowing practice, available from spring through to the end of summer. If you prefer keeping your feet on dry land, the Suffolk coast is blessed with a huge selection of independent sellers and is dotted with street markets selling local produce, fit for a king and his pooch!

This is a beautiful and comfortable house in a great location but not easy to find in the dark! No street lights so road names not easily seen! Very lovely area, peaceful, close to beach, good food at pub next door. Close to Leiston and Aldeburgh for shopping.

Staying at Whinlands Thorpness is like being part of history. The house has a very well equipped kitchen and as we were there in winter, very efficient central heating. Good sized living room for a large group and the dining room also good.

This property was ideal for a family break. It was very well equipped, warm and cosy. The location was perfect for long walks with children and dogs.

The property has a good location in Thorpeness, right next to the Dolphin which is a great Pub/Restaurant. However although the property is quite old and you must expect some quirkiness it was not very well maintained. The radiator in the first floor shower room was very rusty with paint peeling off and the one in the groundfloor shower room was alRead moreso badly stained. The upstairs landing carpet was stained in several places. Several blinds were broken - reported to Suffolk Secrets twice by phone! Hide
