This charming cottage set over three levels in the heart of the picturesque fishing village of Robin Hood’s Bay is perfect for families or friends looking for a relaxing holiday on the North Yorkshire coast. Robin Hood's Bay is famous for its winding cobbled streets, traditional cottages, and breathtaking sea views. Explore the welcoming pubs and cosy cafes or browse the independent shops and galleries. Just up the coast is the bustling seaside town of Whitby (6 miles), with its atmospheric abbey ruins and busy harbour.

This stylish cottage welcomes you into a snug porch before you step into the elegant lounge and dining area. The room, with its decor reflecting a coastal influence, boasts exposed beams, an original stone fireplace with a cosy wood burner, comfortable sofas, plush armchairs, and a Smart TV – perfect for relaxing evenings. A splendid oak dining table is ideal for mealtimes. A few steps lead up to the kitchen, which features terracotta-toned flooring and overhead beams, along with all the appliances needed to rustle up tasty treats. A rear door leads up steep steps to a handy outbuilding. Upstairs are a contemporary family shower room and two charming double bedrooms. A staircase leads to a loft-style twin bedroom, a quiet retreat for older children, complete with beamed ceilings, beanbags, and a Smart TV. Outside, a front bench is ideal for morning coffee. There is a parking permit for one car in the upper village car parks (not including Fisherhead Car Park).

Discover Staithes (12 miles) and explore its historic harbour and beautiful coastline, where you can search for fossils. Scarborough (16 miles) offers traditional seaside fun, featuring sandy beaches, theatres, and family attractions. The Hole of Horcum (16 miles) is a must-visit, offering a scenic walk to this amphitheatre in the North Yorkshire Moors.

This is a beautiful, cosy cottage with real character, in a great location down in the bay. Lovely bedrooms and comfy lounge. Would love to return.

Wonderful cottage, with an idyllic location for RH Bay. We had a wonderful, cosy stay, on a cold wintery weekend enjoying the log fire and Sea Views from the porch.
