Give appropriate bedding. I dont think we need a 10.5 tog duvet, we had to buy our own sheets! Not providing at least one fan is unacceptable, again we had to buy one! The hot tub was a big disappointment, firstly it needs a good clean and a service, it was VERY lacklustre in performance. Remove the cctv from the back of the property or atRead more least let people know in advance they will be recorded whilst relaxing outside and in the hot tub, fair enough to monitor the parking area and front door but not where you do your daily living! Not to give any information on how the cctv images are viewed, how long they are kept for is not acceptable, really ruined our stay. We were also held up for quite some time whilst you had a delivery, one option that might have been appropriate would be to ask the delivery driver to move so they were not blocking the entrance/exit. We were not given access to the third bedroom????? A few lights outside the entrance to the main gate would be a good idea. Your waiver to the hot tub needs to be given before you arrive! To basically say you are waiving your right if you are negligent is unacceptable, the whole reason we booked the property was the hot tub and people need to be advised of this waiver in advance!!! Or how about taking some responsibility and not having a legal document to use it! Was disappointed how the property is not private at all. Why on earth would you choose to have an automatic light in the bathroom, it just goes out when youre having a shower and doesnt go out for ages when you get up in the middle of the night. The pots and pans and implements need to be replaced. As does the kitchen foil, do you not have anyone check these things? The oven doesnt work properly. Hide

From the moment we arrived at Waterside Lodge, we knew wed chosen somewhere special. Steve and his daughters gave us such a friendly, genuine welcome, and the basket full of welcome goodies was a lovely touch that instantly made us feel at home. The lodge itself sits in a wonderfully tranquil setting, perfect for switching off and unwinding. The secRead moreure gated access added peace of mind, and once inside, we were treated to a beautiful view that made every morning feel like a fresh breath of Dorset air. Everything was spotlessly clean, clearly cared for with pride, and the relaxing hot tub became our favourite place to end each day. The location is ideal too tucked away enough to feel peaceful, yet with easy access to lots of nearby attractions, making it a great base for exploring.Overall, Waterside Lodge is the perfect blend of comfort, calm, and thoughtful hospitality. We left feeling refreshed, relaxed, and already planning our next visit. Hide
