Perfect for a pet-loving couple, this romantic retreat sits just 200 metres from the coast path and Overstrand’s sandy beach. With an open-plan living space and sunny courtyard garden, your four-pawed pal will be able to stay close every waking moment.

Contemporary colours and styling make a fabulous first impression as you step straight into the living space at this cute little coastal cottage. The open-plan layout means your pup can keep watch as you move between the sleek kitchen, breakfast bar and lounge area; there’s plenty of room for him to stretch out at your feet as you snuggle on the sofa for a night in front of the Smart TV. Once the pup is settled in his bed, a door leads into a divine double bedroom with plush linens and a chic en-suite shower room. For a sniff of fresh air, stroll into the courtyard garden. An outdoor dining suite means you can enjoy al fresco food and drinks in comfort, and walls all around add peace of mind as your pup explores.

Once a favourite holiday location for wealthy Victorians, Overstrand has a fine selection of welcoming shops, pubs and eateries. Just 200 metres from your doorstep, the beach is sandy at low tide and perfect for a waggy-tailed walk. Just 2.5 miles along the coast, Cromer is one of North Norfolk’s busiest seaside towns with family entertainments, a Victorian pier and promenade. For a change of terrain, the National Trust’s Felbrigg Hall is 5 miles inland; there’s parkland for Fido to explore and once you’ve worked up an appetite, a pet-friendly tea-room awaits.

The Hideaway was exactly that, the perfect Hideaway. Well equipped, beautifully furnished, very comfortable and ideal for dog too, just minutes from clifftop and beach. Local shop well stocked and a good bus service too! Clifftop cafe very popular and super beach walks to Cromer! A good find!
