Dual-aspect windows cast light over culinary endeavours in the contemporary kitchen; adjacent, the living/dining space has a dining suite at one end and, at the other, a choice of seating where you can unwind with the pups at your feet. Patio doors allow easy access to the garden. A double bedroom and a shower room complete the ground-floor layout. Upstairs, there’s a sanctuary-like double bedroom, a bunk-bedded room and a family bathroom. Those patio doors from the dining area open onto a fabulous rear garden large enough for ball games, BBQs and fresh-air feasts. There’s storage for bikes, and to ensure you fully embrace coastal life, just 600 metres away, your own beach hut is just moments from the shoreline.

Enjoy tail-wagging walks along the beach – it’s dog friendly all year – or sniff out Bembridge’s pretty high street, pier and harbour; the village has some lovely pubs when you want to refuel. For a change of terrain, Ventnor Downs (13 miles) offers stunning coast and countryside views.

We had a really lovely time at this cottage. All five of us had a really good time. Its situated in a fantastic part of the eye of white where a lot of the amusements and good restaurants are situated. Would recommend this and also would be happy to go back back again. Loads and loads of space in this house. Britains.

Very clean and comfortable. Lovely big garden and secure especially for those with dogs. The beach hut is an added bonus and a little gem. All in all, a lovely holiday on the beautiful Isle of Wight.

We visited "Seacroft" between Christmas & New Year (my husband, myself and our 2 teenage daughters). Absolutely lovely property! Modern, spacious, and an amazing big enclosed garden. We don't have dogs ourselves but paid the "extra" as my relative (who lives on the Island) has 2, and she visited a few times. The location was excellent as weRead morell ~ Bembridge is a lovely village, and the property is a short walk (5-10 mins) to the seafront (we were lucky with the weather). As for amenities, there is a nice Co-op directly opposite. Also a Cafe but we weren't there long enough to try that. There are some takeaways / eateries in the village, but unfortunately the Fish & Chip place was closed over the festive period so I can't comment on that. But I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing and comfortable break on the island. Hide
