Wonderful barn in an amazing area, beds and settee were so comfortable. Every room was so clean and facilities were great. The little snug area at the top of the stairs was so cute and even a hit with our 14 year old. Biggest plus for us was the placing of the barn. Beautiful views of the countryside and of the owners garden and their wonderfuRead morel sheep and lambs, who did indeed enjoy a gentle head scratch. Wonderful to meet the owners feathered friends too and watch and hear the wide variety of birds around, including kites and woodpeckers. There was so much to do in the area too, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Daltons dairy and Denstone Hall Farm. Highly recommend visiting these and sampling their products ! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return in the future. We have recommended Quixhill Barn to our friends too Hide

Quixhill Barn is absolutely perfect. I stayed here with my family and kids for three nights and the property has so much character, it was clean, spacious and in a great location. Hosts are outstanding too and make you feel welcome from the start. Well certainly be back and I cant recommend enough.

Excellent 3 Nights at Quixhill, despite the weather. Lovely barn conversion with all the amenities you need, very clean and tidy. Good farm shop and pub nearby. Can walk from the door to the Churnet Valley Trail. Nice to watch the chickens, pheasants and rabbits from the kitchen window. Would happily return.

A truly marvellous stay. It's a really comfortable and warm barn conversion with everything you could need. The thoughtful welcome gifts were really appreciated, and the hosts (Lesley & Andy) were really hospitable and helpful. There are good walks and a wonderful farm shop is only a few minutes drive away.
