Nestled in the heart of Dorset's countryside, this Bere Regis cottage combines characterful heritage with contemporary comforts, offering a warm welcome for families, friends, and their faithful hounds. And with a safely enclosed courtyard garden for Rover to explore, your entire pack can enjoy a holiday to Devon.

Full of charm, the cottage is beautifully refurbished with flagstone flooring, exposed beams, and quirky features, all brought together to create a warm, homely feel. Enter the hallway, where a step down takes you through to the delightful kitchen – a country-cottage space with a range master oven for rustling up hearty meals after a day of adventures. There's also a utility area with a washing machine (ideal for muddy boots and leads), as well as a handy cloakroom and access to the courtyard garden. The light-filled lounge is a cosy hub, complete with plush seating, a Smart TV and a roaring wood burner that’s sure to be a hit with the hound. Across the hall, the dining room provides another inviting area – gather around the table for meals, games, or planning the next day’s outing. Upstairs, four inviting bedrooms await: a king-size with sleek en-suite shower room, a double, and two singles – all promising restful retreats at the end of a busy day. The stylish family bathroom boasts a roll-top bath for soaking weary legs after long countryside walks. The enclosed courtyard garden is a real bonus for those bringing a four-pawed friend – a safe setting for them to potter while you relax with a drink or fire up the BBQ. The cottage has private parking for two cars on the driveway, roadside parking out front if needed, and an EV charger.

Surrounded by rolling hills, riverside rambles, and green fields, the location boasts many tail-wagging walks. The market town of Dorchester (12.5 miles) brims with independent shops, pet-positive pubs and dog-friendly cafes. For coastal adventures, hop aboard the Swanage Heritage Railway (18.5 miles) to take in sea views before tackling cliff-top stretches of the South West Coast Path or strolling along Monkey Beach between Swanage Pier and Stone Quay (18 miles) – perfect for sandy paws year-round.
