This stylish seaside cottage is a shipshape retreat for couples, friends or families bringing two canine companions. Set in vibrant Swanage, it’s ideally placed for beach runs and countryside walks, and its enclosed garden is a wonderful space for relaxing after days spent outdoors.

Follow your furry friends into the modern interior, which features an open-plan living space with a chevron floor, interesting light fittings and attractive colour scheme. The kitchen includes a microwave and a dishwasher to help make cooking and cleaning up quick and easy, and there’s a dining table for four where you can all get together to share stories of your adventures. Curl up on the soft seating, your pups by your feet, to enjoy a movie. You’ll find two beautifully styled bedrooms waiting for you. The first features a king-size bed, while the second is a lovely twin room which share a ground-floor shower room. Head up the narrow staircase up to the mezzanine-style snug on the first floor, where the sofa bed and bean bags make a great hangout spot for younger family members, or take a soak in the contemporary family bathroom next door. Do note that there are some low ceilings on the first floor. Open the patio doors to an enclosed garden where hounds and children can play while you relax with a tipple or fire up the BBQ for an al fresco meal. You can store bikes and beach gear in the storage area at the side of the property, and there’s private parking for two small cars or one large vehicle.

Play fetch on Monkey Beach, 0.5 miles, which welcomes mutts all year round, or grab the leads and stroll to the end of the pier, also 0.5 miles, where there are wonderful views and a dog-friendly cafe. Take the steam train (dogs on leads welcome) to Corfe Castle, where well-behaved hounds on leads are welcome.

• 2 bedrooms – 1 king-size and 1 twin room
• 2 bathrooms – 1 bathroom with WC, 1 shower room with WC
• Electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine
• 1 Smart TV in the lounge
• Enclosed garden with raised, furnished deck, patio, lawn and charcoal BBQ area
• Off-road parking for 2 small cars or 1 large car
• Shop, beach and pub all 0.5 miles
• Storage area for bikes and water sports equipment
• Please note that there are some areas of restricted headroom on the first floor due to the characterful eaves of the property

Very well refurbished cottage. Everything looked brand new when we arrived. So comfortable and well equipped. We enjoyed the different walks into town, to the beach or through the allotments with our dogs.

Heathers is such a beautifully created holiday home. We loved the addition of the space upstairs our boys spent lots of time chilling in there. The house has everything you need and is in close proximity to a huge green space for the dogs and kids with a fab play park. (2 min walk). It is a level walk to town and the beach (approx 10mins). Off roadRead more parking is a bonus and although close to a main road it is so quiet. We will definitely be back! Hide

Lovely property, really well equipped. We had a lovely stay. Our first stay in Swanage. Property is just a short stroll to beach, shops etc very convenient. Swanage is very dog friendly and we enjoyed cafes, shops and beach with our dog. We hope to stay again sometime.

Excellent holiday home. The quality of the property fit out and facilities are first class. This combined with its quiet location but still near to the town centre/sea front make this a property we would not hesitate to return to.

We, 3 adults and 2 dogs had a wonderful stay at Heathers. The house is beautiful, spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you need for a wonderful stay. Dog walks in Studland are amazing, lots of pubs & restaurants to easily walk to, the host was easy to contact and always on hand if you needed help. We cant wait to return.

Nice new build with excellent facilities. Impeccable attention to detail. Our puppy had his first time at the seaside, so great being so close to the beach. Which was open to dogs in the winter months.
