Head into the forest to find this charming glamping pod. Climb the steps and enter the accommodation to find a compact but well-organised open-plan living space and bedroom. To one side of the area is a one-wall farmhouse-style kitchenette equipped with a hob, microwave, sink and fridge. Continue past the comfortable double bed to reach the door to an en-suite shower room and WC at the back of the pod. Outside is a raised decking area with a fire pit, a table and two chairs overlooking the lake and a private, wood-fired hot tub. There is private parking for two cars.
While based in the rural village of Treneglos, you’ll be just 4 miles from the edge of the Cornwall National Landscape. Visit the quaint fishing port village of Boscastle (9 miles) and browse some of the independent shops before dining out at a dog-friendly pub. Feel the power of the tumbling 60-foot St Nectan’s Waterfall (10 miles) and hike some of the South West Coast Path (9.5 miles) for magnificent sea views and hidden coves.
