Soak up the sunshine and listen to the birds as you and your happy hound relax at this Yorkshire retreat. Sleeping four guests, the one-bedroom glamping pod is set on a leafy site, just over 1 mile from Kirkby Lonsdale, with its shops and eateries. Nestled within the fringes of the Yorkshire Dales, it is perfect for people and pets who enjoy picturesque walks and visits to spectacular beauty spots.

Call your delighted dog in from the fresh air to enjoy a little quality canine time with you inside the comfortable retreat. Take two steps up to the deck and then enter via the glass door to find yourselves in an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner/bedroom. Feed your four-legged friend and put the kettle on in the cleverly designed kitchen area, where you can also whip up light meals for yourselves. Dine at the table as your chum dozes off his own dinner, then take a seat on the leather sofa and watch a little TV before bed. Your bedroom space features a cosy double and the sofa can be transformed into a bed too, suitable for two extra family members or friends. You also have a private shower room here. Stretch furry legs with a good walk before breakfast. Spend warm evenings outside at the table in front of the pod, with your cheerful chum close by. There is also a shared picnic area for you all to enjoy. The pod comes with private parking for two cars.

Step outside with your eager walking companion to follow footpaths from your scenic surroundings through the beautiful national park. Venture 10.5 miles to find yourselves in the magnificent Lake District, with its wonderful scenery and myriad of trails to follow. Visit the National Trust’s Sizergh, the same distance away, with its 1,600 dog-friendly acres.
