Boasting elevated sea views, contemporary interiors and space for six guests and two canine companions, this Cornish retreat is perfect for a coastal group getaway. Set in a National Landscape, you’ll be surrounded by scenic walking trails and pristine beaches as well as plenty of historical landmarks – like Tintagel Castle.

Enter the apartment through the hallway shared with neighbouring properties. Step inside and find yourself in the grey, yellow and white open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with wide, picture windows framing sea and cliff-top views. A sleek ‘L’-shaped kitchen unit with glossy cabinets and black countertops sits around the central wooden dining table with high-back chairs. Next to the windows is a lounge space with a large, corner sofa and a Smart TV. Underfloor heating will keep your toes warm on the first floor, where you’ll also find a utility room, a shower room, a twin room (can be made into a super-king) and a bunk bedroom with a double bed at the base. Upstairs is a super-king-size bedroom with sea views through the Cabrio balcony windows, air conditioning and an en-suite bathroom. There is private parking for two cars.

Stay in mystical Tintagel, where you can take Fido to visit the historic ruins of Tintagel Castle (1 mile), believed to have been the birthplace of King Arthur. In the village, sniff out the quirky independent shops, stop for a pick-me-up at one of the cafes or dine at a cosy canine-welcoming pub. Hit the South West Coast Path through National Trust Bagalow (1 mile) for far-reaching coastline views and take your four-legged friends for a dip at Trebarwith Beach (2 miles). Also nearby is the picturesque fishing port village of Boscastle (3.5 miles) and the 60-foot-high St Nectan’s Waterfall (2 miles).
