Escape to the Suffolk countryside in this impressive holiday home near Newmarket. Sleeping 12 guests and two furry companions, the luxurious property makes a fantastic base for family get-togethers and holidays with friends, and is set within a 1,500 acres of parkland. Enjoy days out to Bury St Edmunds or Cambridge, both within 20 miles.

The detached retreat is elegantly styled, combining traditional farmhouse character with contemporary design. The social hub of the house is a spacious kitchen/diner where you can set up the dog beds next to the wood burner. Enjoy breakfast feasts at the dining table, or gather at the banquet-style table in the dining room. The kitchen/diner has a cosy seating area with a Smart TV, or you can all come together in the formal lounge. In summer, open the doors to the garden to let the pups amble in and out. The ground floor is also home to a king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room and direct access to outside. A utility room rounds off this level. The five remaining bedrooms – three king-size and two twin – are upstairs, two of which have en-suite shower rooms. One of the king-size bedrooms is connected to a twin room, making it perfect for a small family. The main shower room completes the accommodation. Outside, dine alfresco on the patio, which is equipped with furniture, a BBQ, and fire pit. You and the pups are also welcome to explore the extensive wider grounds. The holiday home has ample private parking.

Newmarket, 7 miles away, is a vibrant town with a good range of independent shops, along with traditional pubs and cosy cafes that welcome four-pawed visitors. Newmarket has some lovely public parks that are popular with dog walkers, including Fairy Lake Park right in the heart of the town. Bury St Edmunds (14 miles) is also extremely dog friendly and, after a spot of retail therapy, take a stroll with Rover and Fido around the beautiful Abbey Gardens.

This was an amazing property. It was the first Christmas we had as a family in over a decade. We were able to cook a big Christmas dinner with all the equipment/oven space available to us. Having the fireplace in the living area was perfect for evenings playing games and relaxing. Was very impressed with the water pressure and consistent temperatRead moreure, considering the size of the house. Stayed at lots of places/hotels before and this was by far the best. Having the bedroom downstairs was perfect for my mother, who has problems with her sight, knowing she was not going to have to worry about stairs was a great relief. Loved taking a walk around the grounds and seeing more of the venue. What a beautiful place. Hope one day we will be able to return. Hide
