Head off to magnificent Mid Wales and take your four-pawed pal with you. This handsome stone cottage is situated in Defynnog, 0.5 miles from Sennybridge. With two bedrooms, it sleeps four people and enjoys a private garden 20 metres away. Nestled in the fringes of Bannau Brycheiniog, or the Brecon Beacons, it enjoys access to some superb walks.
Dry your pup’s paws and head inside via the hallway. Head into the lounge together, where the great stone chimney breast makes a striking feature. Light the wood burner after bracing walks during the colder months and let your dog stretch out in its heat. Settle down on the soft seating to play games, read books or find films on the Smart TV. In the charming kitchen, you’ll find everything you require to help you prepare meals for the other members of your party, too. Take in the views through the arched window as supper cooks. Enjoy your meal in the dining area, then, as the day draws to a close, bid your dog goodnight and climb the stairs to your own bedrooms on the first floor. Take your pick from a calming king-size and a twin. The pretty family shower room is also on this floor. The lovely private garden is located across the road from this cottage. Sit on the bench and take in the views as your pup pal potters about on the lawn. Parking for this cottage is on the street, subject to availability.
Just 1.5 miles from the retreat, you can explore the beautiful plateau of Cefn Llechid with your dog by your side. Make some sandwiches, pocket some puppy treats and venture 10 miles to 40-acre Craig-Y-Nos Country Park, with its woodland paths, lakes, and dog walks.
