Take your four-pawed pal with you to soak up the sunshine and serenity at this delightful hideaway in Llangollen. Sleeping just two guests, the charming, one-bedroom annexe has an exquisite, private lawned garden and is well located for riverside and canal walks. It also makes a great base for getting out and about in the wider Clwydian Range and Dee Valley National Landscape together.
Encourage your dog in from the garden to enter the single-storey retreat with you. The property adjoins the owner’s property, but guests are assured their privacy. Follow your pup pal up the ramp and into the annexe. Find yourselves in a friendly, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner where you can unwind together in comfort. Pull the bi-folding doors to the garden open on fine days to enjoy the breeze as you settle back on the sofa and your dog reclines on the rug. Watch the Smart TV or plan the dog-friendly activities of the following day before wandering over to the kitchen to feed her and whip up a treat for yourselves. Dine at the table inside or out, depending on the season. There is a handy utility room here for rinsing dog towels and blankets. Lead her to her bed before you turn in for the night yourselves. You have an inviting double bedroom here, which has an en-suite bathroom. Take your canine pal out into the lovely garden as often as she wants. This is for your own private use, but is not enclosed. There is parking here for two cars.
Lace up your walking boots, grab the dog’s lead and venture 1 mile together to the fascinating ruins of medieval Castell Dinas Bran. Take her with you to enjoy walks through Ty Mawr Country Park, 5.5 miles away, and past the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct.
