This house is in a beautiful location and within easy walk from Beadnell bay. It was plenty big enough for our family and had a good layout which suited us. The bedding and towels were clean and the kitchen had plenty of glasses plates etc. If I could sum Port Perry up in a word it would be "basic". Unfortunately the house feels quite unloved aRead morend in need of a deep clean and a lot of maintenance. The games room in the garage is a waste as everything was broken and rusted to the point of not useable. Take anything and everything you think you might need (there is no hand wash in the bathrooms no salt/pepper/oil etc in the kitchen) maybe these aren't expected by others but they would have made our stay a lot more comfortable. Overall we had a great time in Beadnell but I wouldn't recommend this house and I would not consider booking again, especially when there are so many other lovely properties nearby. Hide

The property was extremely cold when we arrived and it took approximately 6 hours for the property to start to heat up. The location is good though.

Booked this property for a family getaway - 7 adults a 2 year old and a 3 month old plus 2 small dogs. We arrived in -4 outside temperatures to find the heating had not been put on in the house prior to our arrival and the inside temperature was 0 degrees it took until the early hours of the morning to get warm- not ideal with a baby and toddler weRead more had to sit with our coats on all evening. We booked this property as the garage had a pool table, dart board, and table football and we thought it would be nice to spend time in there in the evening however the football table was rusty, there were no tips on the pool cues and only 3 darts that didnt stick in the dart board so we were again disappointed. The property is spacious and has a nice garden area which was great for the dogs , however after loading the dishwasher up we found it didnt work, again disappointing as that left a lot of washing up and we were only provided with 2 tea towels. It seemed that the property had been empty for a while as it was quite dusty. On a positive note the property is close to the beach and situated on a nice quiet estate. We would return to Beadnell again in the winter months but maybe not to this property. Hide
