Please note the lawn leads down to a pond, which is mainly fenced off, but supervision of small children and dogs is required. There is driveway parking for six cars.

At the heart of a National Landscape, stroll along the UNESCO-designated Biosphere reserve of Braunton Burrows (6.5 miles), abundant with richly varied wildlife and plenty of exciting new smells to enjoy. Keen outdoor explorers can join the Tarka Trail (4 miles) on foot to two wheels if your four-pawed pal can keep up, following the traffic-free trail through Braunton along the route of an old, decommissioned railway line, to the fetching Victorian seaside resort of Ilfracombe 8.5 miles away.
