Very comfortable house. Being beside the canal was great for watching passing boats and for exploring the towpath. The restaurant, cafe & shop in Houlton are an easy walk & the pub next door was good too.

The house is very modern , well situated a couple of miles from m1 & right next to a pub serving good food and dog friendly. The hot tub is a good addition to the property. On arrival the cleaning standards were not as guests should expect which was very disappointing, we raised with owners who were prompt to reply

We absolutely loved our stay at Wharf House. A great location by the canal, all the home comforts we could ask for, comfy beds... and the amazing hot tub was the perfect way to relax after a day exploring! We stayed with our two children and they loved it too. We chose the location as a central point between several places we wanted to visit - the Read moreNational Space Centre, Warwick Castle and Coventry Cathedral - and we had some local days out too. Lovely walks by the canal and the kids even got to open and close the lock. Having the pub/carvery next door was so convenient - it's not a noisy pub so the area still felt very peaceful. Stayed in autumn but would love to go back in summer to make the most of the balconies and barbecue! Our hosts were lovely - they left us some yummy treats and we only had one small request which they came and sorted with 10 minutes. It really was the perfect holiday getaway - highly recommend! Great place, well thought out property and location ideal for exploring Warwickshire (Rugby, Leamington , Stratford). Handy to have a nice pub so conveniently located with good food! Property not ideal if you have mobility issues however due to stairs.
