Treat the whole pack to an unforgettable seaside stay at this charming cottage in Seaton Sluice. Perfect for families or couples with furry friends in tow, this welcoming retreat, which sleeps six, boasts sweeping coastal views and is just 650 metres from the wide sandy beach.

Five stone steps lead you to the front door, where you can hang leads and coats and slip off sandy shoes. Enter into the stylish lounge/diner with its mid-century vibes and flop onto comfortable seating after a windswept coastal walk. Crack open a board game, curl up with a book while your faithful friend dozes by your feet, or watch a film on the Smart TV. Gather everyone around the large dining table for hearty meals prepared in the modern kitchen equipped with everything you’ll need for easy self-catering. There’s a handy ground-floor cloakroom too. Head upstairs to find three inviting bedrooms: two doubles (one with glorious sea views) and a bunk room for children, looking towards the harbour. The gleaming family bathroom rounds off the home. Outside, the front patio is just right for afternoon tea, while the enclosed rear courtyard offers morning sunshine and a safe space for your four-legged pal to relax. A handy gate leads to the back lane and village green for a quick walk. Parking is on-street, less than 50 metres away, with easy access for loading and unloading directly outside the cottage.

We really enjoyed our stay in Cinderhill Cottage. The property was exceptionally clean, comfortable, quiet and with a good shower. Great views from the cottage too. Location was perfect for us with a lovely walk up Seaton Burn as well as the beach and estuary. Newcastle/Tynemouth/Whitley Bay close by. Thank you for letting us stay.

This was one of the cleanest and best decorated holiday home we have stayed in. Comfortable beds and seating. Lovely views and a great location. Two grocery shops and excellent pub/restaurants nearby. Plus walks along the burn and the coast.

This is a really clean and comfortable holiday home. The bathroom in particular is very nice, with an impressive shower. The beds are comfortable, and the kitchen well-equipped. It is hard to fault. The location is really interesting, with lovely walks to the coast and up the river. Highly recommended.

We were delighted with this property. Our Grandchildren were delighted with their bookcase, bedroom and the games. We thought the provision for a family was excellent. We have a friend in the area and would stay again.
