The modern home is a fabulous choice for dog owners, surrounded by walkable streets lined with independent shops, dog-friendly pubs and welcoming cafés. With space for six over its three bedrooms, this spacious home is wonderful for up to three couples holidaying together, or a family group.

This stylish dwelling is laid out over three storeys, starting with the ground floor featuring a lovely living room with sink-into seating and a Smart TV – lovely for winding down with your pup pal after a day of exploring. Across the hall, the stylish kitchen/diner is made for relaxed group meals, and with French doors leading out to the garden, it’s easy to let the fresh air in on sunny days. Upstairs are two bright bedrooms, one king-size and one double, along with the family bathroom and a handy little office. Head to the top floor to find a spacious super-king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room. Framlingham’s showstopper is definitely its 12th-century castle (0.5 miles), where your four-legged friend can join you in appreciating far-reaching views from the ramparts. The town also hosts regular open-air markets – perfect for sniffing out local goodies for dinner. Fancy a change of scene? Head to the riverside town of Woodbridge (11 miles) or enjoy a day in the charming coastal town of Aldeburgh, with its wide pebble beach (14 miles, please check for seasonal doggie restrictions).

A great location - we were staying near family. Very clean and well appointed house. The garden is secure - you cant see it on the pictures but there is wire behind the trees. Our dog couldnt get out. We loved watching the resident muntjac in the cemetery behind the garden!
