Seaton is a traditional Cornish village with a handful of eateries, including a woof-friendly pub. The beach is made up of sand and pebbles and is a popular spot for dog walkers, as well as surfers. Picturesque Downderry also has a delightful sand and shingle beach which rarely gets crowded, even in the height of summer. The surrounding area is a paradise for walkers and four-pawed explorers, with scenic routes to enjoy along the River Seaton and through Seaton Valley Countryside Park (1 mile).
