This pet-friendly apartment is the perfect choice for couples or friends who are looking to enjoy a unique, luxurious escape in the heart of Padstow, just steps from the town centre yet in a very private, tranquil spot with breathtaking views. It is an all-year-round destination. The historic fishing town is renowned as a foodie destination, boasting everything from Michelin-star restaurants to pasty shops and ice cream parlours. There are plenty of boutiques and interesting art galleries to explore, too, and if you’re feeling active, you can hire a bike and venture out on the Camel Trail, which takes you to Wadebridge and Bodmin. St George’s Cove, Padstow’s small, sandy beach, is less than 1 mile away, while Harlyn, Constantine, and Trevone bays are all within just 5 miles. A regular pedestrian ferry runs from Padstow to Rock. Heading inland, the market town of Wadebridge and the Royal Cornwall show-ground with regular events are just 7 miles by bike, bus or car.

You’ll approach the property via the gated access adjacent to the Rock Ferry landing. Once inside, take the single flight of stairs or the lift, up to the first floor and the apartment, heading straight into a well-appointed kitchen, kitted out with appliances including, large larder sized fridge/freezer, Neff Combi Oven/Microwave, Induction hob, Air fryer and Slow cooker. Through the fitted kitchen into the spacious lounge which offers all round panoramic views, and features a Smart TV, hole-in-the-wall fire, (FROM AUTUMN 2026 - 2 electrically reclining white leather swivel seats, all electric reclining & massaging white leather sofa), extendable marble dining table and white leather swivel dining chairs. The lounge benefits from 2 large Juliet Balconies each with double opening doors for that Outdoor living feel. Just off the kitchen, through the little vestry with handy cupboard, lies the bedroom, boasting a hand-crafted super-king-size bed, Smart TV, and plenty of storage space thanks to the fitted wardrobes and dresser/drawers. Robes & Towels are ‘a given’ to keep you comfy. Just like the lounge, it benefits from wonderful views across the water & depending on tides you will hear the lapping waves from open windows to add to that laid-back feeling. The en-suite shower room has a large shower and a Japanese style WC with built-in bidet, heated seat and remote-control operation. For added convenience, there is another shower room with WC off the vestry & via the convenient Tack Room. All large windows are dressed with electric remotely operated blinds allowing full view, privacy or reduced light to suit the moment.

Set in a frontline position right by the water, the apartment also has access to a shared garden, which overlooks a pretty, private harbour and the tranquil Camel Estuary. You can take down a drink or a meal outside and relish the fresh sea air and beautiful views from the garden or the Dock. Keys are provided to the Direct gated Access to South West path. We stayed at Dock of the Bay before the refurbishment. We found it very comfortable and spotlessly clean. There was no hot water to the bathroom but the shower room was fully working. The really big plus to this apartment is the view over the Estuary to Rock. Also its dog friendly with easy access to the coastal path. We look forward to returning aRead morefter the refurbishment. What's good: Location- amazing, right on the edge of the harbour. Numerous big picture windows with the most splendid views, from the lounge and both bedrooms. The decor and layout of the lounge and bedrooms are excellent; modern, light and airy. The parking is very secure and spacious. The property is right on the edge of all the attractionsRead more of the Padstow quayside area, perfect location. What's bad: The windows only open a small amount and are huge- it must get very hot in summer! (Our stay was in mid-October). The bathrooms are very dated- look like original 1960s / 70s coloured brown / avocado suite. The bath and shower not working in one bathroom with hand-scribbled note. Showerhead in other bathroom crudely cable-tied to its pole so not fully useable. Kitchen is dated and dingy. No dishwasher, but 2 almost identical fridges! Cold water tap not working. Window jammed open, would not close. Boiler is ancient and quirky. The directions to the property were vague, out of date and inaccurate. Key collection instructions cryptic. Doesn't even give the apartment number (It's 11, same as the car park space number, but it should be stated in the address). 'What3Words' location ID would be very helpful. According to the in-house info folder, the owners acknowledge that certain parts of the property are below par and intend to refurbish this winter. But none of this was notified before we'd booked and paid for the stay which isn't really acceptable. But we really did enjoy our stay- the very good aspects of the property just about outweighed the several shortcomings. Hide

The apartment I believe is going to be updated, which the decor does require. However what may have seemed outdated was still good quality and very clean.
