Keen walkers and four-legged friends alike can join countless breathtaking walking trails, with the stunning landscapes of Curbar Edge, Froggatt Edge and Padley Gorge all reached within 5 miles. Hikers and cyclists can also follow the Monsal Trail (6 miles) and the Abney-Eyam Loop (8.5 miles), whilst climbers can explore the Horseshoe Quarry (1 mile). Sniff out some fabulous local produce from the biggest market town in the Peak District, Bakewell, 7 miles away, which boasts a wonderful Farmers' Market.
