Hang up the leash in the welcoming entrance hallway before leading the way into the spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner at the heart of this bolthole; your playful pup won’t be able to resist dozing in the sunny spots streaming in from the large set of patio doors. Soothe weary walking muscles at the end of a busy day’s adventure on the plush sofa before whipping up some tasty treats and filling your top dog’s water bowl in the contemporary kitchen. During the summer months, throw open the patio doors to relax to the gentle whistle of the evening breeze. Leading off the open-plan living space, you’ll find a delightful double bedroom which features tail-wagging rural views to wake up to. Head to Daventry Country Park, just under 6.5 miles away, to nuzzle noses with plenty of wildlife as you enjoy a peaceful stroll around the meadows, woodland and past the reservoir.

We had a relaxing 10 days, everything we needed we found, the only small issue we found was a lack of information with regards dog walking areas. We would return.

Our second stay here was just as lovely as the first. Comfortable property with everything we needed. Enclosed garden area was great for our dog, and also use of the field at the front of the property. Lots of nice places to go locally for walks with the dog too!

Our stay was extremely comfortable and we enjoyed our stay immensely. Place was spotless and everything you would need was there. Great spot for a quiet and relaxing break.

This was a perfect stay for us and our two dogs. Nice walks near by. The use of the front field was a lovely surprise and really came in handy. We will be rebooking this cottage again soon.

We had a lovely stay. The hosts were very welcoming and the property was very comfortable. The enclosed garden area and use of the front field was great for our dog, and there are plenty of lovely walks nearby.
