Enjoy a truly special stay at this impressive Yorkshire barn and bring Rover along to join in the fun. Sleeping eight guests, the four-bedroom, pup-friendly retreat is situated in Cawton, within the beautiful Howardian Hills National Landscape. Ideal also for long walks through the North York Moors, it comes with a wood burner, pool table and enclosed garden for your paw-fect pal.
Follow Rover into his new home to find a splendid, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Let him nose about his new surroundings while you put the kettle on for a cup of strong Yorkshire tea and prepare the next delicious meal in the kitchen area. Top up his water bowl and dish up his dinner here too, then call everyone else to gather round the grand dining table. This lovely space is also where you can play pool, watch the Smart TV and give Rover some love and attention as you all relax together. Open the doors to the garden here in summer or take your chum through to the snug with you when it’s chilly so he can doze in its warmth as you flick through the channels of a second Smart TV. Settle him for the night before heading off to your own bedroom. A cosy double, with patio doors, is downstairs, while two king-sizes and a twin, with a sloped ceiling and en-suite shower room, are on the floor above, together with the family bathroom. Let Rover out into the garden to stretch his legs while you make morning coffee. Light the BBQ and dine out here under the stars on warm evenings. There is parking for three cars.
Take Rover with you for long walks through the estate at the National Trust’s Nunnington Hall, 3.5 miles away. Magnificent Castle Howard, 8.5 miles away, also has pet-friendly grounds.
