For a peaceful seaside break with your family and pets, stay at this dog-friendly home in pretty Corton. The local beach is just 500 metres away for energetic adventures (please check for seasonal dog restrictions). Located within a holiday park, this three-bedroom property gives you access to an indoor swimming pool (charges apply) and a pub/restaurant – ideal if it rains!

This welcoming abode has an open-plan living space for relaxing with your family and pups – watch a film, tuck into a lazy breakfast by the large window or plot your next dog walk. On the ground floor is a single bedroom with an orthopaedic electric bed and a handy en-suite shower room – great for guests who need everything on one level. Upstairs are two flexible zip-and-link bedrooms that can be king-sizes or twins, depending on your group. One has its own balcony with seating, so you can sip your coffee in the fresh air. A modern family bathroom completes the upstairs quarters. While there isn’t a private garden, there’s plenty of green space around the holiday park for those early-morning dog walks. Off-road parking for two cars is available in the main car park (100 metres).

Corton Woods Nature Reserve (0.5 miles) is your best bet for walking the dogs, with well-marked trails winding through lush greenery. You’ll be 3 miles north of lively Lowestoft, where you’ll find dedicated doggie-friendly beaches along with plenty of shops, restaurants and pubs. You’ll also be excellently placed to explore the Broads National Park (5 miles), with its peaceful waterways and walking routes.

A cosy quiet lodge suitable for couples or small families. Location is okay with on site facilities. Lots of days out available nearby, we particularly enjoyed Caister Castle.

The home we stayed at was exactly as expected, everything we could possibly want for a few days away. Everything was clean and there was amply bedding, blankets and towels, on arrival we were greeted with a bottle of wine and snacks. They had provided blankets, towels, bowls and treats for the dogs which made the stay even better.

Great little place to stay with a really welcoming feel. Lots of efforts made with welcome pack and soaps and other consumables. The main bedroom was excellent and the presence of two bathrooms (one on each floor) was great. Many thanks!!
