This cosy, single-storey hideaway in the pretty village of Comrie offers wonderful walks through idyllic scenery from the doorstep. Perfect for lovers of the great outdoors and their top dogs, the colourful holiday home sleeps four guests, with a welcome for two canine companions. Comrie offers dog-friendly shops, cafes and restaurants, with more to discover in the lively town of Crieff (6.5 miles). The River Earn, running through Comrie, marks the start of several walking trails to suit four-legged friends of all ages. For tranquil waterside walks, visit Loch Earn (6 miles), where you can also enjoy paddleboarding, kayaking and a spot of fishing.

Take two steps up to this appealing, detached retreat and enter the charming lounge/diner. With a pretty dining area, garden views and sumptuous seating, it is perfect for relaxing in front of the Smart TV while your canine companions snooze beside the wood burner. The bright kitchen has all you need to get cooking, including a handy breakfast bar. There are two delightfully furnished bedrooms – a king-size and a twin – served by a stylish family shower room. Outside, the enclosed rear garden has seating, a hot tub, a BBQ and a heated summer house, as well as a hand-held shower to rinse muddy boots and paws. There is private parking for one car, with further on-street parking subject to availability.

Enjoy a peaceful, 1-mile stroll alongside the River Earn or follow the Glen Lednock circular trail – this 2–3 mile route leads humans and hounds past the spectacular Devil’s Cauldron waterfall and pool. Dogs on leads are welcome at the Auchingarrich Wildlife Centre (3 miles) with its petting farm, and in the magnificent formal landscape of Drummond Castle Gardens.

Lovely property, great location, easy parking right at the front door. Nice private little garden. Good choice of high quality shops, places to get coffee, cake etc in the village. Well equipped, comfortable, cosy.

A lovely, comfortable and clean cottage in the village/town of Comrie. Ideal for dog owners as secure garden. Located near the main street for local shops and walks. Hot tub in the garden was a definite hit

Attractive cottage in a great location. Comfortable, cosy and with everything in good working order. Tastefully decorated inside. We enjoyed sitting on the lovely decking and the summer house in the private garden. There are some great walks minutes from the cottage, and further afield there are many places to visit. Surrounding area is beautiful aRead morend the village of Comrie is perfect base. Will definitely be back. Hide
