We had a wonderful holiday. Highfield was perfect for our family of five and two dogs. There was so much useful relaxing, comfortable space downstairs and stunning views. It was a lovely warm house with underfloor heating as well as log burners and very well equipped. A great welcome hamper and fires made up for us when we arrived. The grounds wereRead more amazing - so large and properly enclosed for dogs -even the entrance gate had wire netting to stop dogs escaping. Our dogs were made to feel very welcome with bowls and treats and a useful outside tap for washing them down. The hot tub was much appreciated by the humans - as was the games room. The house is in a wonderful location - on top of a hill with views all around, very peaceful but only a 10 minute drive to Instow where theres a great beach for dog walking and some fantastic places to eat. Surfing beaches were a 20-25 minute drive - we headed to Saunton Sands but could have surfed at Westward Ho! All in all, we had a wonderful stay and hope to return one day. Hide

A beautiful house with incredible 360degree views. We had a wonderful stay for our family reunion,of 6 adults and a child. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The games room was great as the weather was poor when we were there. We had some memorable meals around the large dining table, cooked on the Aga which also kept the kitchen dining spaRead morece cosy. A short drive takes you to the lovely beach and great choice of eateries at Instow. The garden room with its huge wooden beams was our favourite space and the hot tub a real winner. We highly recommended Highfield Hide
