Your delighted dog will be as excited as you to arrive at this stunning, architect-designed house on the Isle of Wight. Sleeping eight guests, the striking, four-bedroom retreat, which encompasses an annexe, sits in an acre of land that is pure paradise for pups. Exquisitely converted from a former RAF radar station, 2.5 miles from Ventnor, it has spectacular sea views and a luxurious, cutting-edge design inside and out.
Follow your four-legged friend inside to find accommodation that wows at every turn. Feed him and your family or friends in the chic kitchen/diner. Descend the sweeping concrete staircase into the lounge with its huge south-facing windows that frame the views. Let him pad about while you sink into the sumptuous sofas in front of the Smart TV and wood burner. A WC and split-level utility room are nearby. Head into the old bunker together as well. This is now a gorgeous relaxation area, with another wood burner, music system and views out to the west where you and your canine companion can watch the setting sun. Settle him for the night before heading off to your own impressive bedrooms. Two super-king-sizes and a double can be found on the first floor of the main house, together with two opulent bathrooms and a dressing space. The annexe, which was once a Nissen hut, features a studio-style lounge/kitchen/diner/bedroom, with a double bed and shower room. This also has incredible views. Play games with your happy hound and children in the extensive gardens. Dine out here, light the firepits and lose yourselves in the views. There is ample parking.
Pick up the Isle of Wight Coastal Path and walk 1.5 miles along to dog-friendly Steephill Cove. Ventnor Botanic Gardens, also 1.5 miles away, and Carisbrooke Castle, 10.5 miles away, also welcome four-pawed visitors.
