We were pleasantly pleased when we arrived and saw the cottage location as it was idyllic and hid away from view. We had an incredibly magical and restful stay at this beautiful country cottage. A cosy and charming cottage in a stunning location, but we wouldn't return as there were a number of issues that make it too expensive when compared to other options. We rarely leave a mixed review The boiler woke us up multiple times. It shrieks and groans and is located by the master bedroom. Cleanliness is an issue - our bedsheets had marks and Read morestains. There was building work going on in the garden, and we were not informed of this in advance. Just not good enough for the price you're paying. Hide

Lovely cottage and perfect relaxing location. Only downfalls were the fridge was very small with an ice box which was unusable as it was completely frozen over and needed defrosting so no freezer space for ice creams. As there were 3 of us the seating wasn't sufficient as 2 of the seats were club chairs which were hard and uncomfortable. No wardrobRead morees to hang any clothes in either bedroom. But on saying that we had a lovely holiday and would come back with just the two of us. Hide

Thank you for a lovely week in Aysgarth. The cottage was in a lovely location and the balcony was wonderful. The cleanliness could have been better and took the shine off the overall property which is a shame because it could have been lovely.

The location of the property right beside the river Ure is lovely, although the river levels at the time were very low. The cottage is clean and very comfortable, and the private garden is an added bonus. We would definitely return, and recommend a stay there to anyone.

Really nice cottage BUT four out of six nights had problems and we had to leave early due to a raw sewage leak at the Mill! The fire has a poor draw and although an advisor was sent we still ended up with the carbon monoxide detector going off as we were about to eat dinner on a cold night (at least they have a detector). The oven emits lots of fatRead morety smoke and so couldnt be used. Then a raw sewage leak at the Mill - we had to leave a day early or be surrounded by sewer works! Hope its fixed. Hide

A delightful clean, comfortable cottage in an excellent situation overlooking the River Ure. The falls were spectacular due to heavy rain but the cottage was so quiet and peaceful. The separate garden was very useful for the dogs. Many lovely varied walks from the cottage. Would highly recommend.

We had a fantastic week's holiday at Waterside Cottage. The cottage had everything we needed for a family of 4. The cottage was clean and the beds super comfy, great after a long walk on the moors. The garden was an added bonus. A great location - quiet but within easy distance for some amazing walks.

Waterside Cottage is delightful - an absolute gem. The riverside location is exquisite, and the cottage's location is both beautiful and exceptionally peaceful. The cottage is welcoming and comfortable, and we, as a family of four, felt that every need was met or provided for. All in all, a tranquil and appealing home from home.
